Field-level moisture variation is a critical challenge in agriculture, that stationary point sensors cannot effectively address. Traditional fixed systems measure moisture at a single spot and laterally max (20–50 cm), offering a limited view of what’s really happening across the farm.

To overcome this, we developed Terra Port (a patent-pending), compact, and portable soil moisture meter that allows farmers to measure soil moisture at multiple depths and multiple locations across the field. This enables the creation of a comprehensive moisture profile, helping farmers make accurate, data-driven irrigation decisions.

Cost-effective, easy to use, and shareable, Terra Port can be used across multiple plots or by multiple farmers within a community. The collected data can be seamlessly saved to the cloud, enabling long-term monitoring and improved planning.
